Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My status today is....

Body Battery - 56 now and was 90 when I first got up. "Your body battery is increased 52 points while you slept. Make sure to pace yourself to avoid bottoming out."
VO2 max - superior 48
Training status - Maintaining - High Aerobic Shortage
Load - optimal 836
Sleep Score - fair 79 for 6h 31m "Shorter than ideal, continuous"
HR - resting - 45
Today's training suggestion- "Recovery 11:55/mi 32:00" I did a long run instead.

Found a new feature on my Garmin today: cat prey mode. If the sunlight reflects off the face, you get a handy, prey-sized blob of light for your cat to try and catch. Fun until your arm gets tired (my arm always gets tired before the cat does).

My RHR is going down again after it had been a bit higher after a few harder sessions. The recovery run yesterday helped. Garmin tells me that I'm productive again, less than 2 weeks after the marathon.

Anaerobic shortage, as usual. Marathon training isn't really good for anaerobic sessions.

Sleep 8 hours, interrupted because I went to pee 3 times. Normally, I don't, that's just because I drank as much as Garmin wanted me to and that means that I was running to the loo a lot. I think its estimate of sweat loss during training is way too high. I never need as much hydration as it thinks. So I'm going to ignore it from now onwards. It was an interesting experiment. I recently noticed that it modified my daily hydration goal after each training and I tried drinking that much. 1/10 do not recommend 😂

PS: at least, my Body Battery recharged fully to 100 despite the frequent wake ups.

Two nights away in the van and HRV has crept back into the green after almost a month of unbalanced and low :)
Whether that is causative or coincidence I have no idea.

My HRV has crept up from Unbalanced to Balanced despite an extremely low reading last night. I'm not going to bother crunching the numbers, it's trying to mess with my head muppet

Still Strained. Probably being punished for laughing at its suggestions.

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
