Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Back to maintaining after a couple of days off
It suggested 7x1 min today but that wasn’t happening in this wind!

“Your sleep may have suffered because of low physical activity yesterday, you may feel more tired than usual today”
F-off Garmin, I was on my feet doing housework and cooking all day yesterday, 24 floors climbed should count for something!
My sleep suffered as I was on the sofa.

I'm Unproductive after parkrun. Losing fitness, apparently. Not quite sure whose wrist my watch thinks it's on.

Status -training readiness poor, recovery delayed by stressful day and poor sleep (3 hrs 2 mins unblanaced stages)

Hrv still balanced and load optimal, high aerobic shortage, so maintaining for now.

Today’s suggestion is Rest.
Done feel like running today anyway and think it would be counter-productive

My Garmin status is "recovery". That's about right.

Garmin says training readiness high (hrs balanced, excellent(!) sleep etc) and thinks I should do ‘threshold’ - 2x16@10:20

And I feel full of snot and my aged joints are giving me gyp

Still maintaining, expecting to see recovery soon

I haven't run or cycled for three days, my HRV has been balanced, my training load has dropped from the top of my optimal range to the bottom, and I'm still Unproductive and simultaneously in need of more relaxation and more anaerobic training. Maybe it thinks I'm a greyhound.

I woke up Unproductive, moved to Maintaining after a hard effort at parkrun, then went for a walk and came back Productive. However, the heart rate for the walk was nonsense. It's now decided it's quite happy with the lack of anaerobic training.

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
