Been Maintaining for the majority of August apart from a 10 day spell when it thought whatever I was doing (i.e. nothing out of the ordinary) was Productive.

VO2 is resisting any move from 61 so it'll probably need some gargantuan effort to tick upward. Got a couple of races in the calendar which hopefully, might change things.

Bizarrely since swapping to the different HRM that gives me power it seems incapable of deciding if I am walking or running
Most of my runs are now showing me walking when I am not
It's not even as if when walking the pace is significantly slower

HRV still balanced and floating at the top of range
Sleep, nearly 8 hours good :)
Rhr 40.
Training status - productive :)
Suggestion is a 1 hr 40 “long” run, but just going to nip out for a mile or so to hit the 💯.

Need to make mind up what sort of plan to follow for September.

Another low HRV and unimpressed with my sleep, which in reality was fine.

That's interesting, Pix. The only time I check that is when I do intervals. The 745 I have seems to distinguish between running and walking fairly accurately then.

Today my stats so far are..

Body Battery - 67 now, down from 91 when I first got up. "Your body battery increased 58 points while you slept. You have enough charge to be active today. Doing so will make your battery more resilient over time."
VO2 max - superior 48
Training status - Maintaining* - High Aerobic Shortage
Load - optimal 986
Sleep Score - fair 79 for 6h 43m "Shorter than ideal, plenty of REM"
HR - resting - 44
Today's training suggestion - Base 10:10/mi 45:00 ...... nope!

*didn't stay productive for long!

Ness when I was using a "normal" HRM or the watch HR it's fine! it's something to do with the extra metrics that this HRM picks up

MY HRV was low and my sleep poor but it still suggested a threshold run

The training suggestions are odd. Mine suggested more running last Sunday when I'd done loads the day before. I ignored it!

I got told off by my Garmin yesterday! Out of the blue it told me that I needed more rest and was stressed out (more or less.) It’s probably right!

HRV is drifting down a little - less running and less sleep I think. It stayed higher for longer than usual.
Back to maintaining, productive lasted 5 days. Be good to get back there for a bit longer this time!

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
