I love butternut squash muffins and your ones look particularly delicious. Saw Paul Hollywood doing panettone last night - looked interesting if you have the right pot - wonder what I could use instead

Cat the Christmas Dog
Left it too late to bake a Christmas Cake so made a Christmas traybake instead. It's just cooling and I will marzipan and ice it at the weekend. Fingers crossed it turns out OK!

I think of the cartons of egg white as an American/California thing. Egg white omlettes and all that low fat stuff  We made a chocolate cake today. It was the recipe that went along with the xmas pudd truffle recipe - who's was that again. Thankfully we need half of it to make the truffles. It was very simple to make and I could happily scoff the lot Thanks to whoever provided the recipe!
