About Me
young 50+ year old... Stopped Running & mainly Cycle these days... Got into Cycling in 2013, thanks to RideLondon and have ridden every single PRL100: but, only got through Ballot once! Longest Single Ride to date is 154 Miles: next goal is to break 200 Miles. used to be reasonably fast runner, aged 16-25: TA 3Ml BFT, in Boots, in 16-17mins; comfortable sub 59 for 10 miles & 1H 17M for 1/2M) but those days are distant memories... Got involved with 'parkrun' in June 2010 (was looking at Sutton Park) & was one of the original Race Directors for Cannon Hill Park (launched in mid-August 2010). Was volunteered (by Paul SH) to be original RD for Brueton Park, Solihull, which successfully launched on the 24th of July 2010, with 50 people participating. After 6 events & the week before Cannon Hill launched; managed to find a 'local' team willing to run the Brueton Event!
