Boss Haven't managed much outdoor training in the last month and this course has hills. Aiming for 1:40. UPDATE. Made it round and up the hills ok, though struggled from mile 8 onwards. Good early pace - perhaps too much? not sure i believe this time yet - i clocked myself at sub 1:36.

DanG This race is NAILS! Lots of ups and lots of downs and a killer last mile. Hated it so much last year in my first HM that I had to enter again. GREAT preparation for FLM.... Felt brilliant early on and maintained a good pace throughout. Really pleased that joining a club has helped me knock 21 minutes off my time for the same race last year!!!!

Laura27 After doing this as my first ever half, I loved it so much that i'm returning and hoping for a sub-2 this time! I ONLY WENT AND BLOODY DID IT!!! cannot believe it, was so difficult, i'm sure those hills were bigger than last year!

Little Sausage Wasn't in a good frame of mind to begin with...made even worse by not being able to have a wee before the start of the race (long queues for the ladies) and the confusion with the start line. I knew I wasn't going to get anywhere near by PB (achieved on the course last year)...oh well, 13 miles training for Oakley 20.

Sezz Hurrah!! Chip time is a PB by 29 seconds!! This year's marathon training is really paying dividends and my running is improving no end, despite the hills. I'd forgotten just how undulating this lovely race is.

Strider Hope to improve on half marathon time. Should be a good measure for FLM. Hope the conditions aren't to bad as predicting very cold weather. Well race went ok, little bit slower than anticipated due to incorrect pacing in the beginning but felt good after. Was good improvement on pretty tough course, hilly with strong wind. Would definitely do it again next year.

Super Kev Tough course but loved it. I managed to miss the start, so ended up right at the back, no matter I still achieved a good chip time 1:25.38. Brilliant, well organised, challenging, just the best Half I ever done. Maybe a pb next year when I don't miss the start :)

Will Crash I have to keep up with my mate Fleeceman in order to go under 1.34!!!! My PB for this distance was set last year...1.34.21. Looking out of the window its windy and cold BRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!
