No.8 â„¢ 22 seconds outside PB, but pleased as there was a strong headwind around half the course and it was only 2 days after setting my 10k PB at Langtoft.

Mr BDR Really chuffed with this time! After my Triathlon on Sunday everything felt very tired, but with some pacing from a fantastic runner (taking it easy after her sub-3 hour FLM) I managed a good PB! My splits were: 4:18, 4:10, 4:13, 4:16, 4:17, 4:25, 4:28, 4:17, 4:27, 4:19.

Tim of Fife In the last seven months, I'd raced 6 times and secured 6 PBS. Could I keep the run going and break my 10kms best of 48.12 ?

Ran 22.15 through the first 5kms, but started to feel a little grim so eased off a bit. However, recovered my puff and finished in 45.06 (stopwatch) 45.10 (official).

Ecstatic.

RunningRev Well I didnt beat Shumacer, but totaly smashed my PB !!! On top of the world! Thought I was a kilometer further than I actually was at one point so ran too fast for a bit, but soon remedied that! I managed to pull off my trade mark sprint finish also! :) Next result HAS to be 45!!! The official race result for me is 46:03, but I am recording my Garmin time as it took around 22 seconds to actually cross the start line as I was near the back. I started the garmin just before I crossed the start line.

Nightjar Brilliant fun. 2 laps of the course. Really went for it on 2nd lap. Only regret is you finish in the pits and not with the chequered flag!

Schnecke Time recorded by my stopwatch - official time will be slightly higher, but still under 54 minutes hopefully. Really chuffed with this as it is a PB for me by over a minute and a half! Added bonus of a 5K pb of 27 mins as well. Enjoyed this race and the friendly atmosphere, and it was nice to meet Sanddancer! I'm sure I saw at least one other Fetch shirt there, but whoever it was was a lot faster than me so I couldn't get a good look!

BDR First time running this race so didn't know what to expect. Very windy and found that slowed me down on one particular part (between 6-7K).

Did a 3.5 hour Thai Boxing course on Sunday so didn't feel up to running today at all.

Splits were - 5.13, 5.06, 5.11, 5.19, 5.21, 5.44, 5.40, 5.27, 5.29, 5.33

Managed a 10k pb by 90 seconds and also managed a 5k pb of 26.13!

sanddancer It took me 20 seconds to reach the start line so my real time was 57:32. I'm frankly astounded by that! Just 24 hours after running a hard, hilly 5 mile PB at Pednor I've smashed my 10k PB too. I really wasn't expecting much and put my predicted time as 70 minutes. I decided to run the first kilometre quite hard and see how I felt... I felt good. I continued to knock out the most-evenly paced run I've done yet, despite an alarmingly high heart rate. I even managed my best sprint finish yet - the last 100 metres in sub 2:00 800 metre pace :-) Kilometre splits: 5:44, 5:43, 5:43, 5:47, 5:42, 5:53, 5:45, 5:40, 5:42, 5:30. A good fetch turnout: it was nice to meet, (in alphabetical order!) +Running Reverend+, 2 Flat Feet, BDR, Mr BDR, runnyeyes, Schnecke, Tim of MK and Tobbers. Tim, Tobbers and Mr BDR did the business for me on the betting front too :-)
