CaniRuna Before the race I hoped to average 6:30mm if everthing went well on this undulating course and that is what I achieved which was really pleasing; especially as it was hot.

manicstreetpounder Would like to go under 1:20 or even better get a PB - but not quite sure if I'm in shape to do either yet. Ended up going to a friends 40th the night before and having one or two beers too many and not too much sleep, so was not in the best mood to do this. Once I got going I really enjoyed the run, scenery & conditions were pretty much perfect, but I just couldn't get anywhere near the pace I was hoping for. Hope to make amends at Henley in a couple of weeks.

TEL2 Don't want to go over 2 hours but the profile on this course looks much harsher than yesterday's Burnham Half in 1.57.27., so need some really serious training in next 5 weeks. Great result, just scraped under 1.50 for the first time in 3 years! 6 minutes quicker than Burnham Beeches (and 9lbs lighter).
