Covert Miserable weather conditions but quite an enjoyable course and I easily accomplished my mission of a sub 70 for my first 10 mile race so I'm happy! A bit disappointed there was no medal though, especially for my first 10-miler.

fetcheveryone I ran a blinder here last year - I hope to be similarly happy by the end of this years race, with a couple of minutes lopped off my time. UPDATE: Went blindingly well, ran with Forest Runner, and just kept on clocking up the 7:54's. Piddled down with rain all the way through - t-shirt was soaked through, but very happy now, and bodes well for reducing my HM time at next attempt. Felt a LOT shorter than a HM.

Konaboy Enjoyed the run despite the drizzle. Felt good up to 8 miles then felt a little tired especially in the last mile. Looks like good times all round probably due to the cool damp conditions. Didn't spot one Fetchite on this one. Organisation by Maidenhead AC spot on again with the bacon butties particularly well received!

mss2sw Good run (in racing flats) but fell apart over the last three miles partly due to miles in legs and also the hill. Went through 5 miles in about 31:15. Calf muscles tight but ok. Pleasing overall.

No.8 â„¢ Things went to plan, worried about reduced training recently and knew it would be tough but got my target time of 1:30 off my PB.

Flat course, forgot about the undulation at mile 8 which was hard going, windy on the open stretch and peeing down with rain all the way. 4 minutes quicker than this time last year :0)

RFJ Near on perfect conditions, nice and wet! was looking for somewhere in the region of 67:30, but could not get myself into top gear and push on, maintained a good pace throughout and finished in 68:14 (my 3rd fastest 10m time and only 1 sec behind my 2nd fastest time) so overall a great race, met up with Too much water and Dustin at the end.

sanddancer Watch time: 1:40:13. Slightly outside my target. A very enjoyable race though I did find the last couple of miles a bit of a slog... still managed to put together my best sprint finish so far :-) A dreary, wet day but at least it kept me cool. Fantastic marshalling throughout with plenty of encouragement. Both the first 5 miles (49:59) and the last 5 miles (50:14) were inside my 5 mile PB. The only distance I'm now lacking for the Fetch rankings is the marathon... Uh-oh! Kilometre splits: 6:18, 5:53, 6:15, 5:54, 6:20, 6:22, 6:08, 6:09, 5:58, 6:11, 6:15, 6:20, 6:19, 6:24, 6:27, 6:01.

Schnecke My first attempt at this distance - not sure how it's going to go. Update - it went fine, and my time was spookily accurate.

Sir Moses Hill End of a very busy week - Reading half on Sunday, 20-mile training run on Wednesday and Maidenhead Ten on Friday. But a fun way to spend Good Friday morning and more miles in the legs. Will certainly do this one again if I can.
