Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

BK brighter days ahead Great atmosphere as usual. Seems like the whole town comes out to support. Fierce headwind for the last 2.5 miles heading towards Dolly Parton and the finish

Alan Love the entertainment, but the wind blowing you back up the hill meant a speedy finish was impossible!

Perfect Organism Hastings half marathon. A wee tradition for us (I think this is the sixth one in a row) and, as usual, I wasn't really into it! I've been feeling a bit tired from the training recently and had two bad sleeps over the weekend so my legs were tired and I was tired. Still kind of ejoyed it though. It's always a challenge. We managed to pick out at least five things that make this race really unique:  1. Chariots of Fire playing at the start. 2. Scottish Pipe Band playing just after the start. 3. Great Supporters. 4. Popeye at mile 10.5. 5. A great cup of tea at the end.  Another couple would be a great medal, Hastings Pier, and hills.   Split Summary === 1) 1m - 8:02(8:02/m) 121cal 7.47/0mph 2) 1m - 8:12(8:12/m) 121cal 7.31/0mph 3) 1m - 7:39(7:39/m) 122cal 7.84/0mph 4) 1m - 8:55(8:55/m) 120cal 6.73/0mph 5) 1m - 8:42(8:42/m) 120cal 6.9/0mph 6) 1m - 8:43(8:43/m) 121cal 6.89/0mph 7) 1m - 8:08(8:08/m) 122cal 7.37/0mph 8) 1m - 8:08(8:08/m) 121cal 7.37/0mph 9) 1m - 8:20(8:20/m) 121cal 7.21/0mph 10) 1m - 7:32(7:32/m) 120cal 7.96/0mph 11) 1m - 7:44(7:44/m) 123cal 7.76/0mph 12) 1m - 8:36(8:36/m) 121cal 6.97/0mph 13) 1m - 8:08(8:08/m) 120cal 7.38/0mph 14) 0.11m - 48(7:18/m) 12cal 8.21/0mph
