Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

eL Bee! have 'Feathers' will travel. So - will it be cold, then..?? :)

Had a fabulous time :) almost bailed on the mile after 2 laps, but didn't and finished in a creditable 5:33. No PB, but if I'd got one that would have been silly!!
Still sprinting 100m in just under 14 seconds (I think Mr Speedy has 'got' me over that distance now!!)

Vindicator Not a bad performance given that Vicksta and I wen Christmas shopping for 4 hours in the morning, then did little/no warm up.
The race plan was to run this as 85s laps, relying on a sprint to make up the 'missing' 9 metres for the 5:40, or be in a position to open things out for the last lap to gain more time. I was pretty tired come the last lap, but was on target, so settled for a hold on policy to get me home on/near PB. FR's son running me down in the last 100m helped my sprint (finished together, but he may have just pipped me) and I got my time. I think there were a few seconds more in me If I was better prepared.
A fantastic event. Thanks to all those involved in the organisation.
