Great running DT

I have a mile which I’ll use as my virtual mile so I have my proper comparison but I’m also going to add in extra faster miles in runs in an attempt to help. I did a 5k today I was about .3 into mile 2 when I thought let’s do it! It def mixes things up a bit.

geordiegirl I don’t think it matters if you don’t start your fast mile at the start of a mile as fetch takes your fastest mile for a benchmark from any part of the run (or at least that’s how I believe it works)

oh I've just been picking the mile I'm aiming at and putting that in the results - is it more automated than that? (thanks riggys99 )

I think if you go on benchmarks and select 1 miles (I narrow it down to this year) it will give you your fastest miles. Just be warned when you enter that time in the virtual race the virtual race will also appear in your benchmark for the 1st of the month.
Below is mine I added it as a favourite to make it easier to get to

My best mile time was the last steep downhill of a cross country race so doesn’t really count. :)

It’s going to be a struggle to find a mile here without having an uphill in it.

Maybe Fenland Flier, if not I might have to do an out and back, leaving it until later this month.

About This Thread

Maintained by Fenland Flier
For encouragement and general chat about the virtual mile challenges.

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.

Use this thread to record your jubilation or allow us to commiserate with you.
