I just bunged down what my training analysis said! I'm assuming it was within a parkrun as that's the only time I attempt speed (before you laugh - it's all relative ;-) ) (and I'm definitely old now)

Good luck tomorrow V'rap.
It doesn't matter where you get your time from minardi so long as you're happy with it.

I’d a slightly quicker benchmark 9:26 off 3 x 8 min with 4 mins recovery so hopefully more to come next month.

Sweetie
Managed to just squeeze in a mile attempt before the end of the month, I was aiming for 8:35 and did 8:34 so pretty pleased with that.

Terrific running Sweetie, well done.

I squeezed mine in today too. Mine was the 5th mile of a 10 mile run, I'm still waiting to upload the run but it was around 6.48 and mostly wind assisted.

Well done Fenland Flier wind or no wind that's impressive during a 10 miler.

About This Thread

Maintained by Fenland Flier
For encouragement and general chat about the virtual mile challenges.

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.

Use this thread to record your jubilation or allow us to commiserate with you.
