I completed my very first virtual mile this month in 7:40... I'm happy with it, but let's see if I can improve on that over the next few months :)

Well done usc215 that's a great start and something to aim for beating in future months.

By the skin of my teeth I got a virtual mile done this month! Nothing to write home about - 10:28 - but you have to start back on the road to pace somewhere!

Well done LazyDaisy. Just catching up with Fetch as we've been out most of the day.
Not many hours left for anyone to get a time in for the month but we all start again tomorrow, good luck for May everyone.

Had a 10k race tonight and logged 6:54 for the last mile. Very chuffed and will take that!

Not a bad mile time WayOfTheDodo, even more so because it was the last mile of a 10k race.

Good mile that at the end of a 10k WayOfTheDodo

About This Thread

Maintained by Fenland Flier
For encouragement and general chat about the virtual mile challenges.

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.

Use this thread to record your jubilation or allow us to commiserate with you.
