For all of you that like to plan ahead I've added the virtual mile for January 2025.

There's a few of you that haven't registered a time for February yet and you have just 7 days (and a bit) to get a time down.

I did mine last night, managed 8.01 and I scared a lady walking along the pavement (oops). Happy enough only 2 secs off my fastest last July.

Well done everyone!

I took my time from my parkrun this Saturday past. I managed to run/walk it all, apart from the first incline, which I just walked and got my fastest parkrun time since March 2020 :)

About This Thread

Maintained by Fenland Flier
For encouragement and general chat about the virtual mile challenges.

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.

Use this thread to record your jubilation or allow us to commiserate with you.
