Thanks DT it's been a long day but very nice, we spent the day with our son and d-i-l with our daughter, my mum and d-i-l's mum, 2 brothers and her grandparents. 11 of us in their new house.

Hello milers. I attempted a mile this morning during my 13.5 mile run but only managed a 7.25. It was the only chance I was going to get to get the mile done.
11 of us have managed to enter a time for December and 11 other milers have just over 2 days to get a time entered for December, good luck.

Put mine on for December slowest in a while from a disappointing Parkrun.
Already for 2024. Up till April the mile will come from 10k/5k races as I train for a marathon. In the summer may try some standalone mile attempts

Hiya Wezza, winter seems to be very quiet for milers. There are only 15 signed up for this month and only 5 have registered a time for the month so far.

I haven't forgotten, if I haven't been able to get to the coast for a flat mile by the end of the month I will do loops of the crescent opposite my house.

About This Thread

Maintained by Fenland Flier
For encouragement and general chat about the virtual mile challenges.

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.

Use this thread to record your jubilation or allow us to commiserate with you.
