To be fair, I remember staying up all night when I was 16 (in my room) and then just going to school the next day. Only once, mind, but I do think the younger you are the more likely you'll bounce back quickly.

I once had a week of staying up until 2am reading Lord of the Rings (essentially a book a night) when I was about 14. I was also a read in bed at the weekend sort of person, now it's twitter.

I stayed up till the wee hours all the time as a teen. I recognise now an element of needing time on my own to get over the day before embarking on the next. We caught c9 with fortnite on during lessons which she swore was because lesson was just over but she now blocked till 5pm whatever. The net result of this appears to be that MrS has lost his work desk. No one but me likes my work desk. Not sure where MrS is going to work tomorrow

Don’t know if this information is of any help, but I thought I’d mention it for anyone who is having to cope with home schooling at the moment. The BBC have reported that.... “Customers using BT Mobile, EE, and Plusnet Mobile can use BBC Bitesize content from the end of January without eating into their data allowance.” Here’s a link to the article.... bbc.co.uk |

I’m 50, late diagnosis autistic, my eldest boy is 17 next Monday, it’s been a rollercoaster and more since he lived with me/us full time when he was in year 7. He’s at college now, online for the time being! Lockdown with him in the house has it’s ups and downs, he wants to be nocturnal and do his own thing but he’s got me shouting at him when he needs to log on! I’ve also got another son who is soon to be 10! |
