My youngest is determined to go back to uni so I’m taking her tomorrow. A couple of flatmates are going back so she won’t be alone, in fact she made the point she’d be more alone at home as I’m out at work or my BFs. But I’ma bit worried she will be isolated and stuck there until Easter.

Oldest is moving in with a friend in Leeds so it looks like I’ll finally be an empty nester.

SD is also going back next weekend. She lives in a shared house.

QP is here for at least another week but waiting for more news from college. Given the FM briefing today said most college/Uni courses won't do face-to-face until end of Feb during lunchtime briefing I think he might be here a bit longer. He'll be lucky to make it out alive after the attitude I got over lunchtime. I guess I should be grateful he is up :)

At least mid-Feb for any practical work at my uni (and that will only be work specifically required by professional bodies, not all practical work). Personally, I suspect it will be longer. We've had discussions about everything online before Easter, moving exams around so practical work can be done later/afterwards, summer schools, intensive 2 day sessions, but we're not the ones making the decisions (and all these options have their own problems).

I think unis will be online till after Easter, and I wouldn’t be surprised if schools didn’t go back till then either, numbers aren’t going to do a massive u turn in the 5 weeks left of half term are they?

QP’s course is 3 days practical and 1 day classroom based. They can’t do it online. We shall see.

Fleecy that's the (non-official) word we are getting, schools will be closed until after Easter except for key workers'/vulnerable children.

Looks like we'll be a 5 person household for a while yet.
