Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Glad to hear uni is largely going well for all the teens.

Cedd is settled in college and has been awarded a STEM ambassador role which gives him a free iPad and access to extra support. I'm so proud of him. He had to do a formal application for the role before his GCSEs then had to get good grades, do academically well in the first half term of A levels and then have a formal interview.

He has a girlfriend and she seems a lovely person. We've not seen so much of her but I wonder if that's because Cuthbert's been poorly so she has given us lots of space on her parents' advice. She sent chocolate when Cuthbert was in hospital and well enough to eat again.

T13 is 14 tomorrow. Where has the time gone? Currently in his Theatre Kid phase. Will not practice cornet despite claiming to want to play. Addicted to video games/phone, sigh. Still Reads. Good school report, choosing options this month.
We took him & 6 friends out for dinner, they were all pleasant to be around, looked out for eachother, and mostly only looked at their phones to share stuff with eachother (comparing Spotify playlists etc!). One was an angry bully in primary but is now delightful - his parents put in a lot of work & it's great, clearly better than my efforts. I think we finally have a good tribe, for now.

That's brilliant, Lizzie. Still reads is particularly good.
