I've seen ds twice already - once back home when he came to play a gig and once at his uni when I went up there to see a band with him. He's back again this Friday to go to see a band with his dad. No sign of any washing having been done yet ![]() |

Neither of ours have been back home and so there's no sign of washing to be done. Though we are visiting DD in a couple of weeks and she asked if the air B&B flat had a washing machine 😉.

Happy birthday to D1. Hope things continue to improve, PH. LittleD didn't get accommodation so is still here. Lots of washing. She's doing well, I think. |

Little road trip last week to see both SweetPea and Marigold. Both doing well. After the horrible time SweetPea had last year I was worried about her going back, but she seems to be thriving again. Marigold is settling well too. I'm missing them both and it's taking a bit of time to get used to the house without them, but getting there |

Husband went to Manchester to see Sarah on Monday - and she's now on her way back to Stockholm for a few days as it's reading week next week. I think she's mainly looking forward to being with the cats again, and having access to everything she needs for baking!

DaughterDragon has set off back to Bristol as she has a choir rehearsal this evening. Her reading week is pretty early but she started earlier than some places

I had a chat with DD yesterday after I had heard from my mum that she'd been in tears on the phone with her. I think she was a bit upset about not being able to see her school friends as one of them who didn't go to uni had gone to visit her other friend in Bristol. She also lamented not being able to go out to interesting Indy bands as none of her new friends are into that kind of music. Anyway, that was an excuse to book to see Bug Club in Leicester with her, then do parkrun together the next morning. That will be a nice little trip. |
