Elspeth now left to start Devil of Highlands at 6. I will catch bus to Bridge of Orchy later (8:23) and run 7 miles back to Tyndrum. Stopped raining meantime. I will pick Elspeth up later today, hopefully from Fort William (cut off 6pm).

Last Hard: Edinburgh City Bypass and A84
Last rest: technically yesterday.

Good morning all!

@PeterFay and @ElspethF - enjoy your respective runs in what sound like lovely parts of the Isles!

@Derby Tup - congrats on your shiny new PB 😁

@lin50 - thank you for volunteering! I don’t think we have parkrun in Belgium and it would interfere with my art class during the school year (9am-12.30pm) but the remaining weekends I’d totally do it!

For lack of park runs, I do my long run on Saturday morning now, so here’s me:

What: 15 miles averaging 13’40”MM. Slow for some, but I am loving the consistency in speed I got and my improving ability to stay in the right HRZ
Why: trying to be sensible in my long runs for marathon training
Last hard: those final 2 miles (but i did them!)
Last rest: incl. from commuting bike? 28/7

Speaking of the bike commute: it’s about the get longer, because some idiot has decided to close the little bridge over the river at the railway, so now I need to go round further and hope that there are no trains delaying me, because I now have a (guarded) level crossing to contend with. Oh well, I guess it’ll be good for my annual bike target 😶

Good morning :)

Lyrics: No.

What: Parkrun tourism. Pavilion Gardens, Buxton. Pleasantly hard run, a smidge under 28 minutes. Possibly another small jog when I get home.
Why: Opportunity and travel.
Last hard: Today.

Lyrics - Not sure

What - Ex Bike 22:30 mins (5.7m)
Why - New regime plus trying to losing the pizza from last night, good night with @Gobi and friends.
Last hard - Any exercise
Last rest - yesterday

@Wabo and @Night-owl the chamber is run by the Wessex MS center in Warminster, and because I work in thier shop I get it free as well. Wish the NHS would subscribe to the chambers would be such a saving on many illnesses, but hey oxygen is free so no one can make money from it other than installation... (sorry being a bit facetious there)

Take care
