Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

About time we kicked off the new year. Nothing to report today other than I’m going to the track tomorrow evening - for the first time ever :-O

Crikey you are right, DT - you're the first. REALLY first time ever for track? Hope it's a goodie. Well structured track sessions can be brilliantly rewarding... but I would say that wouldn't I?

My LeeVee session today wasn't really quality, more ticking over and consolidating. Not rubbish though. Still working on HJ consistency.

I have got a ‘quality’ run to report actually - Saturday’s Parkrun at Lowestoft. 350 + runners, many in local club vests and the feel of a real road race (well, from what I remember about them). Flat by my usual standards, but still tough course with a strong cold wind. I was pleased with how I did

That belongs to last year, but is good news. You must be pretty pleased with your running last year, DT? Here's to it being ever more enjoyable and rewarding in 2022.

I'm not sure you've ever told us but I think you 'used to' run and road race - pre Fetch? Then was it all about trail running and hill walking or similar? I just have this feeling you're a sort of born again club runner. Is that right?

A place to record your quality sessions. Once a week for a kick off, if you can. Doesn't have to be running but for once I'm asking for exercise related stuff.

It has to be a session that you feel ticks all the boxes, something you really commit to, do what you mean to do. No half hearted stuff, but no plod through it either. In the words of my elite sprinter friends, you 'execute'. (Not really my friends it's just what they say on the telly.) Not necessarily hard, a...
