Yep, muddy and puddly at Dinton but it stopped raining just as we were off which was nice.

A very, very windy parkrun at Lowestoft this morning. No rain during the run, but the strong winds helped dry us out following the torrential rain whilst waiting for the start.
It was the first time I’ve run a parkrun with my daughter Megan, and was great to have her company.

I had to rescue our pop up from the adjacent playground this morning - complete with tent pegs dangling from it!

A rather wet Whinlatter Forest parkrun with Vinnie 🦮 this morning. His first one post lockdown, lots of dogs today so he was very excited and rather loud 🤦🏻‍♂️

Wet at Cranbrook. They changed the course because the grass was flooded, still had to go through a puddle three times but good fun. So good that they went to the effort to create a new route on the day of the run.

wet and windy at Beeston - with a very wet spell in the middle with hail. It is now sunny!

Despite 48 hours of torrential run beforehand muddy puddles in places but only a mild drizzle at the end today. Halloween fancy dress was optional. First across the line was a dinosaur/dino-dog combo. First lady was Superwoman with a double buggy. Never was a costume more apt.

Fragile Do Not Bend
I was amused to see on Facebook that Linford Wood had a slightly delayed start due to a delivery robot passing through :)

WE had a delayed start because of a drain cleaning truck thingy. :)

Potternewton today. It threatened rain in the forecast and rained on the way there and again afterwards but not on the run itself. 2 and a half Lagos giving you 6 hills to enjoy. I did my fastest time after recovering from Covid, do I was pleased with that. Unfortunately no cafe as I had to drop my mum off at the hospital.
