Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The country park is quite hilly and can be very slippy if it’s been raining. If you want a parkrun pb shot go to Stewarts Park….

Flatts Lane is the nearest event to my MiL's place - I've done it once as a parkrun, twice as a freedom run. It's a beast, but it's one of my favourites. The name's a bit misleading - it's neither flat not a lane!

There are a couple of sections that can be quite muddy, especially if it's been raining.

I’m contemplating doing Lowestoft parkrun tomorrow. I will confess that this will be weather dependent. The current forecast is 98% chance of rain into 20mph winds straight into the face on the out legs.
I’ll be more inclined to run if any Fetchies are about to say hi to.

did flatts lane on holiday - the hill at the back is a bit of a calf burner, but overall a fun course.

Home parkrun tomorrow for me mixed with a bit of volunteering- first timers before and scanning afterwards. Juniors on Sunday. We are a bit short of volunteers. Next week will be interesting as it’s Reading Half and I’m the only RD available. I guess I’ll be asking for volunteers at the start and a load of volunteers will be running.

Cheers for all the info, ran Flatts Lane and really enjoyed it (maybe enjoyed the hill less so the second time round)

I did Cannock again in my long run. Timed arrival (nearly) and jogged round before jogging home. 10.5 miles round trip.

Wet and muddy out
