Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

CW, I was going to try Marlow as my NENDY and Henley is a very tight course, but in the end we stayed local and went to Frimley before heading to Endure. Frimley was really nice, well organised and relatively quiet considering Rushmore was off.

I’ve just realised that I can parkrun when on holiday this year! I hadn’t even considered it as I never knew if it would be on by then but now it’s a real possibility and it’s quite exciting :-) we are staying close to Minehead and arriving on Friday so I get to do 2 events. I’m guessing it will be Minehead and then either Burnham and Highbridge or Longrun Meadow. Anyone got any local knowledge about courses, cafes and Fetchies to say Hi to?

I’ve run Burnham. It’s excellent for a fast time. Very flat, and mostly on hard surface although being fairly exposed, it can be a bit of a bngger if windy.

Agree with what Red said. Burnham is still my parkrun PB from a few years ago. The cafe was an airstream caravan in the car park. Plenty of tourists in the summer as you might expect.
