Or maybe they've had EDs like me who are worried about filling their roster.

That's true Linds - seems everyone wants to run, not so many want to volunteer.

Indeed. Our roster looks better for Sat now but nothing for subsequent weeks. Perhaps that's for the other thread though.

Maybe they will go back to a more skeleton roster, we used to be able to run an event with a couple of people. Then it went daft.

I'm so excited for Saturday, can't wait. I don't think I've ever had a full roster this far in advance! I've invited all the volunteers to join me for a run round the new course before the start on Saturday, really looking forward to it.

DV - we were not going to be hitting parkrun for a while due to concerns on numbers/close proximity etc....

However, we are in Wales and happen to know where a small parkrun is .....

My other half has waited 18 months on 49 parkruns

Gobi, double celebration - parkrun and a milestone. Definitely worth seeking out.

I'm feeling a bit funny about returning parkrun, not because I'm not looking forward to it, just there is so much other stuff going on right now I don't have room in my head for parkrun. Friday night I will get excited - I promise :-)

Can't wait to be back although it'll be a sad affair at my 'home' run as one of our stalwart volunteers passed away last weekend😥.

I'll be keeping it local for the first couple of weeks and then make a decision if I want to risk hitting the tourist trail again ...

I'm still a little apprehensive about the return of parkrun. Feel much better about it coming back now rather than six months ago.

Finding the smallest event we can get to which is one of my local events but does involve public transport to get there and back. :-/

As Groundhog come Friday night I'll be like a kid on Christmas eve!
