One Thousand Odd Spiders
My coldest to date, managed to sneak in a loop around Oslo via a work trip a while back, it might not look bad but it was mainly ice, the only parkrun I've done with spikes, historical weather looker-upper says it was around -10

Snap Snail. The best parkrun experience I've ever had, a long way from home (or indeed anywhere!). A complete hidden gem in both location and the volunteers / local population.

(On a side note, just harking back to the French parkrun just spotted that they've finally added finishing position to the website results; it always was previously in alphabetical order, though sortable by time, presumably due to French regulations around it not being a race. Looks like that has disappeared)

As an "Andy", I had been monitoring the results before our holiday - and decided that top of the results was looking a good possibility (alphabetically as it would never happen on time). I was gutted on the day of the run when a young local, who hadn't been running in the previous weeks decided to appear. Pipped to the post by young "André". Thanks for telling me that they have now changed to finishing position as I had been planning on changing my name to Aardvark!

Rrunner, my experience of Portobello was very different.
A baking hot Saturday morning in July, a couple of years ago I think.
