Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Gotta love the parkrun age-grading! Fetch race standard gives me only 66.89% but 'You achieved an age-graded score of 70.02%' in my email. :-)

Interesting - I see a difference but it's much smaller than that

I got a slightly smaller difference (81.22 vs. 79.02). I assume this is because the standards for women of A Certain Age were revised upwards more as the increase in women of A Certain Age racing competitively is higher than for other groups.

There's also that LazyDaisy's parkrun time is faster than her own including-phone-faffery time. And V'raps Fetch WAVA is based on a slightly short distance (4.96 km.

My Fetch WAVA is based on 5k and the same course measured 3.12 miles on my Garmin last weekend so I'm not accepting insinuations of short course skulduggery :P

Oops ~blushes~, no suggestion of deathduggery intended. I meant that as your distance for a legitimate 5K was recorded short by your Garmin your Fetch WAVA was underestimated.

But at that, I'd only looked at your training entry, rather than your race entry. Apologies.
