All good on a sunny but chilly morning! We reverted to our pre-lockdown course (with council and HQ approval) and all went well. One timer got one position out very late on but the other was good so easy results processing too :-)

One of the reasons we reverted was to try get people to use the cafe a bit more. Our new (original) finishing line is much closer to the cafe than the temporary course so hopefully it gives them a boost.

Next weekend volunteer will be 25, then I'm going to get back to running for a while. Would like to get a "best" time at all my local parkruns. Got 4 locals, 3 with chance of OK time. Look forward to running and getting sweaty again, rather than chilly! :-) G

Reported in other places but my trip to Sale went well with a Vets course record, 85% WAVA and 17.29 which is my best 5km since 2019. Very pleased to do this on a course where 2kms were loose rock and sand.

I now really need a fast course

Great atmosphere, good marshals and not too crowded. Quite a few visitors with it being marathon weekend in Manchester

Whoo Gobi! Impressive.

I was in Sale on Sunday morning watching a marathon go by - too late for a parkrun though!

Come to York if you want a fast one - get up front with the keenos and you'll be fine! Very flat, tarmac course. 1 & 2/3 laps. (Silly crowded for the first 1km if you're not in the first 25 or so people though!!)

If anyone has run Dinton before and wants to get a new PB then come back to see us. The council have redone the paths and now maybe 1/3 of it is fast and flat. The redone path is around the main lake (Black Swan) and also the finish (which is the path to the play park from the Angler's car park, hence why it's been redone).

I haven't run it yet (was RD the last 2 weeks) so it will be interesting to see how I go on Saturday.
