Fastest parkrun since 2019 today! Felt really good, took it easy at the end so know there is more to come.
I've been trying to improve by running longer during the week, and its clearly working.
Helps to start near the front too...

Well done Hunkyteddy 😀

We are on holiday near Pitlochry so did Faskally Forest parkrun this morning. I think I nearly had a heart attack running up the hill from the start! Loved the downhill finish though. Now in the golf club café having a second breakfast. I think it's the toughest parkrun I've done.

I made the 1hr trip down the A38 for Plymouth Central parkrun, for their 19th event, and the only one in the city itself (there are some with PL postcodes, but outside the city). I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure their first event was disrupted by the start of Covid, IE that week lockdowns started, or very close to it.

Strange one for me as I used to live opposite one of the entrances to the park when a student there, and I left there 20+ years ago. A different life in many ways, but some great memories.

Anyway, it’s quite a hilly course, all on tarmac, and the volunteers and other runners were all very friendly. Free parking, different coffee shops available very close to the start/finish and today there were nice views from one end of the course out over Plymouth Hoe to the sea. Very pleasant.

Stopwatch bingo today - been waiting for 23 seconds like forever. As ever, didn't try for it. Had no idea of my time till crossed the line. Well done Gobi & HT!

Thanks all. Well done Gobi and Gene Hunt!

I will have to try Plymouth one day, only have that one, Plym Valley and Bolberry Downs to complete all the ones in Devon.
