I hope your race is going well @Solo @alehouse Steady progress is good This morning I started with a continuous jog session of 30 minutes. That is the recommendation for week 8 of the C25K. I aom to do two more 30 min jogs this coming week and then increase to 40 min in several steps next week. Then it will be time to take stock of progress and consider the next step. |

Looks like a decent morning for you, @Solo! I look forward to a report! @Canute: 30 is good! Don't rush to get to 40 although I am sure that you will get there sensibly. Fitness suite this morning, and no adverse reaction to yesterday's running. Wordle in six; annoying as had 4 letters in place early on! |

Steady progress @Canute. Hope Great Eastern Run went well for you @Solo Well I ran the 10k and it wasn't so bad. Mostly warm and sunny but we did get a short shower and a light breeze along the beach front. It was great to take in the atmosphere of a race once again. Lots of buzz in the stadium before and after. My other half did the 5k option and did so very well. Training worked out just fine. I had a prediction of 67/68 mins. I reckon my chip time was 66:54 though crossed the line at 67:18 and that's what's recorded. Either way, well pleased at the outcome. |
