Aye indeed. But I’ve got some motivation now so plan to build on that.

@EarlyRiser well done! You sound as though you enjoyed it and now a place for you to build from too.

Your patience is inspirational @Canute and great to see you reaping the rewards of being sensible.

Likewise @alehouse progressing with no adverse reactions must be a relief.

I had so many doubts about running today. My RHR has troubled me all week but on this morning's test run my HR was better than yesterday.

I took the first mile relatively easy and slowly increased the pace. I think at around 5 miles I stopped worrying about crashing but did anticipate it would get harder in the last few miles which it did. I went through 10 miles in 1.13.15 which is a comeback to running pb. Crossed the line in 1.36.15 another comeback pb and 85.94 wava.

I was second FV60 which I truthfully did not expect so yes, I have qualified for an England Masters vest next year in Swansea @Welshpoppy so we have a coffee date as at the moment I feel would travel to the moon to wear it 🤣🤣

Lots of good runs today and lots of celebrations in the Drapers Arms 😄
