I'm going to start making curtains and roman blinds for our new house. I thought I'd start with what sounded like the easiest - a curtain that doesnt need lining (the fabric is a printed blackout fabric).

First stupid question:

How do you choose what colour thread to use? The curtain has blue, purples, greys...

Nice project 😀. I might choose the grey.. but it’s tricky, but also less important, with a good pattern. You’ll be machine sewing the curtain tape .. but as that’s well above eye level.. the thread colour won’t be an issue when it’s all in position.
