Muttley
A 15-minute stroke ladder warmup then 4 x 1000 with 4 mins recoveries. My least favourite session.

Those lost sustained high-effort pieces are hard aren't they mate? Well done though.

I'm still struggling a bit with motivation to push hard for sustained pieces. 8 x 1 min on/1 min off this morning. Worked hard but not for long, which was what I needed today I think.

Trying to build back to a bit of routine to get me through November now and hopefully still have a shout for whatever BRIC looks like in these strange times.

You're getting some good metres and sessions in Muttley, clearly in good shape 💪

I hope your motivation returns soon Nellers, at least you still ticking over! Have you seen the BRIC info? britishrowing.org

5k for me yesterday, nice to be back rowing, I'm definitely back at square one though!

I need to do a system check for internet speed in the shed before I sign up for that Craggy, but that's brought things into focus a bit. Hopefully it's the shove I need to get going again properly.

You may have to move into the house being as it's a special occasion 😉 yes you won't have lost any fitness, and you've got a solid 4 weeks and a traper to look forward to 👍

Ah-ha, welcome back to the machine, Craggy! I know you're an experienced campaigner so no need for me to say it but I will anyway -- start over gradually, don't go chasing past glories too soon! Good luck with the rehab.

Just a slow 10,000 for me this morning. As always a good loosener for the legs after the Sunday longer run.

Should read *taper not traper

Thanks Muttley, I think for the rest of the year I'll mostly watch videos whilst I row, and not take too much notice of the monitor.
Nice leg therapy there following yesterdays long run 👍

10 mins starting with at SR18 and building up to 28. Low SR is really hard to do. My strava is being silly again, 138000m today 😂.

I signed up for the rowvember workouts from dark horse rowing just to give me some ideas.

Shane at Dark Horse is brilliant. Whatever he has you doing will be totally worth it, Lesley, although starting you off with 138km is a bit of a tough session. ;-)

Evening all. Have been a bit quiet recently.
A few aches and pains, trapped nerves, lower back, knees, ankles.
I think it is called getting old.

I also signed up to the dark horse rowvember.
Missed yesterday but did it first thing this morning.

20x20secs/40secs recovery.

AIM was to get the s/r right up. Couldn’t get above 33 s/m but pleased with effort.

Physio on Wednesday. Hoping to get to the bottom of my long term ankle problem.
