Thanks. That’s the rowing done at least! I pin in the bag and the streak continues.

Muttley
G'day all. Muttley Jnr is at Aberystwyth Uni but has decamped to Reading to shack up with the girlfriend until tuition in person resumes. He moved in before the lockdown, so a spell of concentrated cohabitation will be a good test of compatibility!

Lovely sunny warm day here in Cornwall. Outdoor erging is not really an option for me, what with the faff of setting up on the patio. But second best is to have the doors wide open for a decent breeze.

An excellent sesh this morning. 4 x 15 minutes, of which 6 mins at notional 5k pace and then 9 at notional marathon pace. Very enjoyable, and a decent metre total.

10k for me today. Still on for the streak.
Eldest is home from Uni. We picked him up on the last ‘free’ weekend. He is at UWE which has turned their conference centre into one of the nightingale hospitals.
He is out of university student accommodation but his current rent is up in June. Let’s hope things are a bit less restricted in a few weeks.

Did my 12km today as 4 x 3km, targeting 2:15,13,12,11 paces. Sweated my way through it.

The streak continues!

12k done this morning. Rowed it as one piece but had a drink and a towel down every 2k.

First 2k was interesting straight after 20 miles on the bike. (I did have tea and hot cross buns in between to fuel up)

Nice streaking there, chaps! Sinj, I hope you did your 20 bike miles within one hour, or Plod will not be pleased.

Did 30 mins UT2 first, then 15 x 1 min go 1 min rest. A tough session but it always passes quickly. Annoyed however to see that only the 15 effort reps got imported into Fetch, the other couple of thousand metres in the rest reps went awol. Not the end of the world, but harrumph.

Nice work Nellers, Sinj and Muttley!

Unfortunately my challenge may be over. 9.6k into todays 12k the erg dropped where it joins and it's torn the box frame. Hopefully I can order a new part later in the week
