Outside it's not quite hitting 20c here but the shed is doing a really good greenhouse impression!

My shed was warm yesterday evening. Must remember to open the door before tonight's row.
Still on target for the April streak. Have next week off work, so might try and split a couple of the longer sessions.

Toastie outside today - lovely. Not tried indoor rowing outdoors yet but might give it a go soon.
I've rowed day on, day off for just over 2 weeks now and am still enjoying it. I keep watching online videos on form etc and do drills within my warm up. I think overall that my technique is improving but sometimes within the sessions I remind myself of one aspect and concentrate on that and the rest falls apart 🤣

Thanks guys! Managed just over 4K today, taking it easy again. I never normally use the Just Row function but did that today and just aimed for 400 strokes. It's a nice way to avoid too many comparisons with what I was doing before.
Rog T, you should definitely try indoor rowing outdoors. I do most of my sessions outdoors, even in the winter, and never choose to row indoors unless it's raining or snowing. I don't envy any of you training in a shed right now!

I've only ever brought the rower out of the shed to row once. The garden is on a slight slope and I had to prop one end up on a couple of weight discs to get it flat enough to not feel weird. After that I've just not bothered again.

Point it downhill on the slope - good for 2 seconds on 2k, I reckon. 😂

Shame about the slope, Nellers. My erg has to live in pieces in the shed, so it's easier just to set it up in the yard than to drag it into the house and find ways to stop it sliding across the floor indoors. Swings and roundabouts I guess!

Tomorrow I've got to go to Salford to empty out my daughter's Uni room (they're going to be NHS staff accommodation soon) so I've got 8-10 hours of driving depending if there's any traffic.
I've also got a 10k for the April Fools Challenge to do.
Guess who's getting up early on a Bank Holiday.

Well done CW and Rog, I'm a big fan of outdoor indoor rowing 👍
I've got to do the same for my son at some point Nellers but thankfully York is only 2 hours away. Safe journey and enjoy your early morning 10k, at least the shed should be nice and cool 😉
9k today, I wonder what tomorrow will be 🤔
