Should be done is up to you, Rog T. That's the way I do it because it gets me all the data but it's fiddly and the auto-import is definitely easier.

That's good session there. Well done mate.

Thanks Nellers - I think I'll do the fiddly way for any interval types for sure. I do an export anyway for use elsewhere so it's only one more step really. Just didn't want to do anything that's frowned upon 😀

Oh don't worry. Nothing's really frowned upon. Whatever works for you.

Well maybe we frown on getting metres and kilometres mixed up when you manually log something but apart from that...….;-)

Yes I like those days Muttley where you feel like carrying on, I sometimes find my cool down after a satisfying hard session turns into about 5-6k 😂
Good luck with your marathon (not a marathon) plan, have you ever rowed a marathon btw?

Nice neg splits Nellers, easy on the eye for us stat geeks 😉

Pete plan is a good choice Rog, it has a nice mix of sessions!

Just 5k this evening, now it's beer time 🍺

Today I have mostly been dithering and now I'm ready to get in the shed the sun has been shining on it all day so I've got 15km to row in 24C temperatures.

This is what I mean when I say "Planning your training is important".

Nope, never rowed a marathon, Craggy, and have no intention of doing so! I just want a programme with a bit of variety and more on distance than the short sharp stuff. I'm modifying the Fletcher plan to my own liking.

That was a strong 15k at low rate Nellers 💪

I can't say I blame you Muttley, I keep contemplating a marathon then I think about that extra 18k on top of my longest row to date. The EF plan looks good!

7k yesterday and 13k today. Todays row was in two parts as I set up inside to watch the TV, but I felt really hot after 5k so I abandoned and moved outdoors for another 8k 👍

Cheers Craggy. I felt surprisingly good throughout the 15, year high bodes well for the 18 on the plan next weekend.

Just an April Fool’s Streaksaver today. 5k on the 5th. Another 3 fan session! Very warm in the shed again.

Morning all. About 8,500 done. The thing about the Fletcher plan is that it has looong sessions, so if I don't have time to do all the reps on one day I just carry the remainder over to the next. So today was a 15 min rep from the last sesh and the first 20-min rep from the current sesh. I'll do the other two next time ... I'm probably nto getting the full training benefit from doing it this way but it suits my purposes and keeps me entertained ;-)

The plan does lack high-end stuff, which I dislike but I could always do some Pete Plan stylee 500 metre reps, or my favourite "half hour of power" - 15 x 1 minute go 1 minute recover.

I think if it's working for you, Muttley, and it's sustainable you're getting exactly what you need from doing the plan the way you are. If you tried to do each session in it's own right and it took over your life, or it left you too knackered, you'd not stick to it and things would grind down.

Doing it this way you'll be getting varied training stimulus over an extended period, which is exactly what we all need to progress.

And adding stuff in which suits you here and there is also goo. It's a plan, not a rulebook. Do what works, and change it where you need to.

10k for me today. I spent the weekend living nocturnally as it was a very odd audience-free Wrestlemania weekend. Today is a day off from work so I could have a good lie in and probably a nap after lunch. Got my easy=paced, low rated 10k done so I can take it easy from now on, although I'll probably do at least some abs exercises later on at some point.
