Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I have a bunch of stuff for this thread.

Firstly, I’m going to borrow a Rebounder from my teacher.

Secondly, I’ve decided that since my life is usually structured round running with friends and doing group exercise and yoga classes, I will be timetabling similar exercises for my normal times. Some of the groups have WhatsApp groups so I suggested we check in with each other at that time every week. I’m really going to miss the social interaction so this is a tiny way of keeping those connections going!

My running club is running virtual club runs which is a great idea. Running club has never been a big part of my life, but this is the sort of regular structure we should keep in our lives!

Also my bouncy floor teacher has just put up a timetable of classes for the week. Paid subscription as it is her only source of income, but reasonably priced and I know she’s good, she teaches Zumba, Pilates and HIIT stuff. Plus I’m friendly with most of the people doing it so we can have virtual social interaction

My Rebound teacher is doing 4 online classes a week. Real time but access to recordings. Free though if it takes off I for one will bing her some money, I used to pay £7 a class each week. She’s also doing gentle exercise every day at 10am if anyone would like the Facebook link, again free. She’s a good teacher, lots of fun. I’m choosy about my instructors!

Here’s a suggestion for a toning exercise from Dio on the WSW thread. 😀

By the way, I didn’t “pin” this thread, but it is possible that I “liked” it back in the day. No idea what preceded it!)

SHaring a bad review:

PE with Joe Wicks. Avoid, unless you like someone who talks all the time and doesn't explain the exercises because he's too busy giving shout outs to kids who are lying about where they are. Imagine a workout with Russell Brand. To be fair, I'm not the target audience.

I signed up for OYG Davina as she’s offering a month for free. I’ve used her videos years ago so it should work for me. She can be a bit irritating though. It seems to have loads of different videos at different levels plus yoga and a boxing based thing too.
