Meghan Callaway on Instagram is doing some home work out/travel training on her account. I rate her very highly. School of Calisthenics have a free beginners program on their website. You’ll need to have somewhere to do horizontal rows (a sturdy table should suffice). Both the lads that run SoC are UKSCA registered. Fitness Blender on YouTube do some weights and interval training type stuff. You can get free WODs from the CrossFit main site, but you’ll need loads of kit for that. Les Mills do a free 2 week trial. I have a gym with Olympic weights, bars, squat cage, C2 rower, Strongman kit, plyometric equipment at home. The downside of this outbreak is my PT business is well and truly fucked, the upside is I have time to do all the training I want. |

I just bought some boxing gloves (they didn’t have any pads but a pillow will do), some resistance bands and lots of ping pong balls. If my kids are going to be at home I don’t want them breaking each others’ bones with too much energy and no way to burn it off. We can do circuits together or play table tennis if the weather is ok and my chap finishes the new patio this week! Thinking running upstairs will be good cardio if the weather is crap, I’ve resorted to this in the past when the kids have driven me nuts! Still hoping their tennis lessons won’t be cancelled |

Did two 15 minute resistance band workouts on YouTube, not as much fun as classes but still a reasonable workout and my bum will hurt tomorrow! We use these bands loads in classes, they are pretty versatile for both upper and lower body or combination of the two.

I thought since the kids will probably punch each other best to have the right equipment handy ![]() We’ve been doing boxing at Rebound and I enjoyed doing it and found it really good exercise. |
