Rather than go to the track I went and did 13.25 miles at 8.10mm pace - with Luton in mind.

Very hard work too. Nearly 5 miles at 7:50m/m certainly made the heart beat faster! Felt great afterwards though & not too much pain from teh troublesome leg so all looking good.

Nothing for me for the last 2 days - I have a cold. It's just as well that my first race (10k) is on Sunday, I should be over the cold and very well rested!

I've got the lamest excuse why I didn't make my trg session with the club last night.
Left work early (to beat the foibles of the A2). Had squared the session away with Mrs O's ie...I had requisite pink ticket, but got home to find myself locked out!
Consequently spent 20 mins trying to get my key to work in the back door (the key indoors jammed the lock) and had to wait for the rest of the O's clan to get home. Consequently missed the start time/ session completely.
