Shower and charging is the only time mine comes off too - and yes, it still comes up with gibberish.

Wondering what to make of today's very low HRV and 'strained' verdict.

I had a bad night’s sleep, which the device confirms. HRV higher today, which seems weird, and status is back to Productive on waking, whereas it was Strained all yesterday.

And also VO2Max is used for the status, but HRV has been in the balanced zone throughout that period though. Productive->Strained->Productive in consecutive days seems odd to me.

Do you mean all the stats are off a 7 day average? If so that makes a bit more sense as to why mine are rubbish still

My 7 day average HRV should be pretty damn balanced.

My VO2max number rarely budges.

The HRV status is based on a 7 day rolling average. In the ap you can view the daily value (plus trends and bounds)

100% Body battery 💪 Previous two days were 100 and 99.

Which made it a bit odd, I thought, that yesterday's running suggestion was "rest". I certainly hadn't had an all-out Sunday.

Normal service is restored today though, with a completely unrealistic threshold session.

(Yesterday's stress readings also showed 15:58 hours at rest. Not sure I'm quite that well-regulated. Or even that inert.)

If you click 'overnight averages' it will plot them on and you can start to see if it's trending back toward balanced, or if you're still decreasing or bottoming out.

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
