Because of faulty HR data in yesterday's MLR, I'm in disgrace for training too hard. The battery of the chest strap needs replacing and that's why it spiked to 198. It recorded normally for the first mile and then went crazy. At 2.5 miles I realized the problem and removed it to let optical take over. That did a good job for a while but then the usual problems in the cold started. When I get cold, it can't detect the beat properly because blood flow is reduced.

Oh well, I only had a course recon of 3 miles planned at easy pace. I felt I slept well but Garmin didn't like the interruptions.

SS: 69
BB: 84
RHR: 46

Yesterday was a taxing day, BB went down to 16. Sleep got it back up to 94 😃
SS still only 79 because I woke up thirsty in the middle of the night.
Recovery time 47 hours so take it easy. No suggested run.

RHR down to a new weekly low, 44.

RHR up a little probably due to wine and the shock of a ling run!
HRV down - see above!
Sleep poor - 43
Battery low - 45
Please do 30 mins recovery or indeed have a rest - I did 30 mins spin on the turbo and some strength work

Body battery 82, HRV threatening to drop out of the balanced zone, good sleep. It's raining. I should have a rest day today.

BB 88
SS 79, a bit short, only 6 hours, but good deep sleep
RHR down to 42

Garmin suggests a 33 min base run at 9:00 m/m or 140 BPM
I'll be slower with the beginners

This morning it couldn't fault my sleep, HRV or body battery and my stress score was 7. Something had to be done to stop me from getting complacent.

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
