Festivemedals, there are plenty of scaling options. Press ups are easier if you do them with your hands on a wall so you’re taking a lot of the weight off, or a bench or chair as you progress. Pull/chin ups with a resistance band to assist or with loops and doing hanging rows instead. Squats are fairly simple if you’ve got the strength for running but you need to practice a bit.

Thanks Nellers; I'm ok with squats, not 150 yet but I'm confident I could build up to a decent number in sets over time. Press ups are on knees for now, but getting easier, so I'll progress onto doing them from a stair. It's pull ups that I can't do, so I'm looking into using a resistance band to help.

Excellent. We’ll see how you get in and if you feel like giving some variation a go at the end of next month there’s no closing date for entries.😉

Did you see the Amazon link earlier in this thread? I bought the exact one suggested and it works well. Their are different colours depending on weight and a look up table to get the right one.

Got up this morning early (back to work) so I could get an early workout in. Thought I'd do 10 rounds of 5/10/15 to see where I am.

Spoiler alert: I'm not there! I managed 5 rounds. Carrying an extra 6lbs and having a full week off following on from a period of limited training has really shown up today. Time to get back on it or a Half Murph at the end of January is going to be the end of me.

A quarter Murph at this stage is bang on I think Nellers. Good work.

Managed 12 rounds when I redid Cindy at the weekend. Also I’ve managed 2.5kms continuous running on the treadmill.

Why are you out lammo?😉

Cos it's fucking hard work and despite losing a few pounds doing a pull up is just a pipe dream :-)

I know other options are available, just not sure I need the challenge right now, trying to keep cycling, running and doing a bit of weight training is enough tbh
