Just tested positive for covid for the first time! Thought I was invincible but no. I had my booster in September so hopefully it won’t be too awful.

Sorry to hear that Jennywren. Can I ask why you tested? Do you have symptoms? Hope it's not too rough for you and that you make a full and speedy recovery.

I have quite a bad cough and a headache and it isn’t going away so I thought I’d better test. Quite a few things have had to be cancelled (social stuff) because I don’t want to spread it around.

Two weeks today since I tested positive (so about 17 days since the onset of symptoms) and my lungs still don’t feel great. Also find that I’m ok one day and quite low the next. Hope this phase doesn’t go on too long! Has anyone else noticed low mood and an anxiety as a consequence of it? It feels organic rather than situational but it has been Christmas so not a normal time I guess.

I didn't notice any mood swings whenever I've had Covid. I did find that being social seemed to be extra exhausting though! Hope you feel better soon and please remember to take your recovery gradually :-)

JennyWren, I had Covid v bad in February. Long Covid & heart problems ever since. Low mood & anxiety has been ever present since initial recovery. Good days and bad days. I'm hoping that now I have re started parkruns this might help. Dig in, it will get better. Slowly but surely.
