What Hendo said. Oh and it seems to be working. Took 4mins off my 10m, and 1:11 off my 10k this year. Expect to take a minute off 5k

Below *70%* WHR, forsooth? I'm currently doing pretty much everything between 60-80. But averages out (without checking) I think the high side of 70. Does this make me a bad person (on planet Earth, not whatever asteroid Mr Gobi Sir is on)?

Yes Ian I will be going for the "if it's not hurting push harder" technique I think!
Greg - in terms of base/HR training you are in the dreaded "grey area" between 70 and 85%. Easy is not easy enough, and hard is not hard enough. We have a trap door on the HR thread for the likes of you
