bigleggy Training is going well. Can't be bothered following HH or any other type of plan. I'm a kind of I'll do it my way kind of person - beginning to wish I wasn't !!!!! Weather was ideal and the course quite challenging in parts. Course avoided the city centre which was a real shame. Nice Medal !

bill g the liverpool half marathon, we could not ask for a better day weather wise, set the garmen virtual partner for 2hrs and paced myself slightly faster the result was 1hr 50mins, i am very pleased with the run, my left knee was giving me probs but not enough to stop me, i will pay the price over the next few days i think

frisp Changes to course made this a lot tougher than last year, those extra uphills in the second half. Wasn't overly impressed with delayed start, goody bag or lack of t-shirt.

Highland Lad Didn't have a good run last year so hoping to do better this year.***Race Update***Found the race very hard and was very glad to finish. I walked last year so was determined not to this time. Having said that the route was different to last year with more energy zapping hills. Managed to keep sub 8 min miles up to mile ten and then it was just a case of keeping going, even if it was very slowly for my last mile.

Marcus A lovely day for it and a good race - I see I've come in bang on my predicted time! This is a much tougher proposition than the Blackpool course, especially in its 2007 incarnation with a tough 1/2 mile between 10.5 and 11. Love Liverpool and have good memories of this race over the last couple of years - expecting a goodish time in what will be my third

PP I enjoyed the race, but I thought it was a shame that the start was delayed. I have heard people had problems due to lack of water but this didn't effect me.
