Glevum Runner Whoops, supposed to be a training run one week before Barry 40 mile track race. Raced the day before as well. Ended up nearly 6 min miling for the last 8 miles, and was mainly 6:40 pace for the first 12 miles.

Odeon1085 I'll put hr splits on later. Trhough 10 in 62.25 but it was out as although I got quicker positive split. HR Ave 176 3rd Place.

Boycie came down with a cold on Saturday morning - still wasn't feeling too good on the morning of the race. As it was a 3 loop course, decided to give it a go and take it steady, knowing i could drop out at 9 or 15 miles if things weren't going great. Bizarrely felt good during the run, chatting and joking with a club mate until mile 15, at which point I decided to try and pick up the pace a little. Finished in the end in 2.16.48. Not a bad sign, all things considering...

B Rubble Felt pretty awful before the race as had a bad back. Was pleased with a 1 minute PB despite problems. Should have been quicker in the last mile.

phal measured course as 20.15.... went through 20 in 2:33.02.... really enjoyed the course, and was fab to have mick and phil out there supporting.... and the marshalls were great too :-)
