Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Alf Tupper Oh dear. Don't know what happened but not a good time. Race was good fun despite the drizzle, cold and wind! Always love the finish into Pride Park. Seemed a bit more hilly than previous years. Last climb up final bridge seemed like a bridge too far. Great to meet Fetch before the race.

Iris I enjoyed this a lot. I could probably have pushed it a bit faster but last mile at same pace as first (and all in between) is good enough for me. It was just fun, doing my own thing and knowing I could do it.

koilowe 1st time not beating previous PB at this distance. Got that 'monkey' off my back now!
Spot on 1st split at 3km, lost over a minute between 3 and 6 km, caught up a bit between 6 and 9km. Too much left to do in last km for a PB.

ThorntonRunner Yet another attempt at breaking 40 minutes! Am in good form, but have been concentrating on Marathon training so not much short distance speed work. If the weather's OK, I should do it given my Desford result from mid-March (Desford was hillier, and keen headwind for last two miles - still got 40:17). It'll be close though. UPDATE: Bang on prediction:):). The biggest 2 seconds of my life - bringing my pb from 40:01 to 39:59;). Good race, enjoyed. Paced well.

Ness Race Number 7534.
Haven't run a 10k for ages. Would like to get a time of around 55 minutes.
Update: 55:58 was the chip time from the website. A really great race. I enjoyed this one despite strggling a bit in the first 2 or 3 km.
