MattTheRat Just for fun, if I set a PB the week before I'll take this one easy. ** RESULT ** well not a PB, but a fairly decent run. Not in the best shape today, but improved as the race went on. Fairly happy with the time.

Mrs Winkle Great course, staggered start times, good support, plenty of water stations, course markers good. 6.5 - 8.0k was difficult, very hot day and not much shade on that part of the course.

Badger I was feeling quite upbeat about this one. But it's my old buddy Chris's stag the day before now. I am not convinced I'll be in any shape to start the wretched race, never mind PB it! Well in the end I made it there and ran a time in the middle of my range for the distance

Lefromage I did this race after suffering a bit of a foot injury and was not too sure if it would hold up. However following a very slow start to the race (sheer volume of runners) i managed to get into a bit of a stride and complete this great London run. Fantastic shirts and medal, plenty of drinks and even a shower enroute (nice touch). The baggage point was chaos which let it down a bit but all in all a fantastic run for a great cause.

ermsey Bit hot and muggy, but enjoyed my first ever race, and did better than I thought I would. Was a bit busy at points, and how dare they have an uphill finish!!

John66 BET ON ME PLEASE.

I won't let you down :-)

Very hot and training not brilliant but a massive improvement on last year. With a bit of decent August training and a miserable day in Reading on Sep 2nd I should be able to get much nearer 1 hour.

SUPERWOMAN63 This race was well advertised and sounded good hence my entry. It was for Help a London Child and l managed to get some sponsorship, this race was in Hyde Park and was packed with loads of people. I know l keep going on but you expect to be able to run 10km a bit easier than 26.2 miles but you know what l was just doing enough at the gym to get me through the race. The early part of the race was good but towards the middle and the end l was praying for the finish line l really was doubting my ability to finish, how wussy am l and then suddenly l saw photographers, tv cameras and lots of people and decided there was no way l was going to flag on tv and made my grimace look like a smile and got across the line JUST !! and guess what the medal was beautiful and l sat on the grass gazing proudly at it ( a bit like you do to a newborn baby ) had a drink felt refreshed and live to tell another story. Bring it on yeah yeah yeah
