I started running in 2002, after making a rash decision to run a marathon before the year was out. I've been a bit of an on and off runner since then, and have managed to rack up a few Personal Worsts in 2009. 2010 hasn't gone so well either, actually.
I'm vegan, a teacher, and I live in South Birmingham with my partner, cats, chinchillas, mouse and giant African land snails. As far as activities go, as well as running I enjoy walking, horse riding, and cycling.
As well as active stuff, I like reading, write a little myself, travel and camping, and am a keen photographer.
